Today in our P4C session we watched a short animation called ‘The Bridge’. From this, children worked in mixed groups to generate their own questions. From these, we voted for our favourite question, which we discussed!
Why is it that sometimes, younger people act more maturely than older people?
Crystal- I feel that everybody’s, no matter how old they are, knows how to be kind and caring without showing off. The animals on the bridge should have talked about their problems.
Codie – I agree with you Crystal but I also feel that the adults were bad role models to the younger animals by fighting. They should be teaching the younger animals how to act.
Aidan – In our school, Year 6 have spent longer at school learning about PSHE and so should be better at being kind than younger children.
What do you think?
