A very special visitor

This morning Orange class were surprised by a visitor to Greasbrough. During an assembly, a ranger ran into the hall asking for the children to help him find his pet which has got lost of a walk. Little did they know it was a dinosaur!!

‘Rex’ came stomping into the hall to meet the children and allow them to see how big he was in real life as opposed to pictures in books. Orange class enjoyed stroking his bumpy skin and laughing whilst he played tricks on his trainer.

The ranger gave the children a variety of facts about Rex and the children had the opportunity to ask him questions too.
