This week in our P4C session we used a well known picture book to inspire us and generate in depth questions.

As a class we thought about the power of words and how our words can effect other people and their feelings. We worked in partners to come up with questions to discuss as a larger group. The questions we came up with were:

• Why did the ladybird want to fight with his friends?
• Did the ladybird mean to be so rude to the other animals?
• What made the lady bird so grumpy?

We then had a blind vote to find a generic question – “Why did the lady bird want to fight his friends?”
