Today in STEM club, we continued working towards our Crest award from the British Science Association by taking part in another fantastic STEM challenge! Today we explored playground games and how these can be adapted for people who are less able, for example low vision or wheelchair users. The children took their favourite games and made adaptations, thinking carefully about how to use sound, colour and positioning to make the games easier and harder. We used fantastic problem-solving skills, as well as communication, team work and resilience, to design, make and evaluate our games! Well done STEM club!
