We were lucky to have a Warburtons breadmaking workshop in school as part of our hands-on, cross-curricular science learning. We talked about healthy eating and avoiding unnecessary waste with creative cooking ideas to use up spare ingredients.
It was interesting to taste different types of bread and we collected some data to use in our maths learning.
Things got just a little bit messy, but luckily we had hairnets and aprons (which we totally rocked 😉).
The children took their baked bread home for tea – I can’t wait to hear what you all ate with it!
You all look great in your hats and aprons. The bread you all made looked yummy too
