As part of well-being week this week, Year 1B have used their resilience skills to learn about the five different factors we need to keep our mind healthy. We investigated the importance of our friends and family, keeping active, being calm and relaxed, our feelings and how we can help others. We looked at inspirational quotes from many famous people from past and present to create our own inspirational bookmarks. We also discussed a special book called Lucy’s Blue Day where her hair changes colour depending on how she is feeling. Here are a few examples of our learning.
