How big is a rain drop?

Y5S didn’t let the rain stop them this morning. They investigated how big a rain drop is. They discussed why some were bigger than others on their sheet and why some appeared darker than others. The children discussed the water cycle and the impact heavy rain has on the environment. Finally they measured the size of the rain drops any drawing round them and using string to measure.
