Busy Lighthouse Keepers in Y1/2B ⚓️

This week, children have immersed themselves in our Lighthouse Keeper stories. We have created invitations for the Grinling’s 200th anniversary party, created story maps (with conjunctions) and acted out the story for our families.

Ahoy there!

Shiver me timbers!

We also created some seaside artwork, in the style of John Dahlsen.

We wrote a new blurb for the story

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Breakfast

We even made a disgusting sandwich to keep those pesky seagulls away!

If you were a seagull, would you eat it?

A busy week, with some amazing learning outcomes – well done Y1/2B!
