For our Topic Launch Day, Y1M, Y1/2R and Y2N dressed up to represent different countries, cultures and people from all around the world.

With Miss Mills, we learnt about Amelia Earhart who was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. We had a go at making paper planes to see who’s could fly the furthest! (We also had fun making the video slo-mo!)

With Mrs Ramsay, we practised traditional Indian dancing. We really enjoyed recreating the moves and moving to the song Jai Ho!

With Miss Needham, we attempted to build the Eiffel Tower using only dry spaghetti and marshmallows – it was really fun!
