Today, Y1M and Y2N joined together with Miss Mills, Ms Walton and Mrs Taylor to discuss the book ‘After the Fall’.
This book is about what happened to Humpty Dumpty after he fell from the wall. At first he was afraid, but then he conquered his fears and returned to sit on his favourite place in the world, the wall.
The children and adults shared examples of times they had been scared but were brave. A great example was from Mrs Taylor, she shared that she had been scared and excited at the same time when she was in Africa seeing the wild animals!
Gracie gave us a great piece of advice: “If you don’t try something, you will never know if you like it!” Another piece of advice the children came up with was: “if you fall, get back up again!”
Miss Mills challenged the children to make a poster to promote being brave and trying new things, we can’t wait to see what the children create!
