Today, children in Y5/6AG found out how to find the volume of a solid shape by counting cubes. Some of our Year 6’s also explored using length x width x height to find volume. We also explored the units cm3 using 1cm cubes to build shapes with the same volume. The children then used their skills to take part in a volume treasure hunt.
