Gruffalo’s Child

We have enjoyed reading the Gruffalo’s Child story and exploring our role play area re-telling the text through our play using the available resources.

We demonstrated lots of skill and resilience using the scissors to cut out a mouse puppet. We then explored the science of shadows through group discussion and by making our own puppet shadows. We related the shadows to the story, Childs comment “ it’s a massive shadow like Gruffalo’s Child.”
