Yesterday, out Y5 scientists worked together to apply their understanding of solids, liquids and gases to figure out how to separate some shopping items that had bee mixed together when some shopping bags were dropped. The children used magnets, sieves, a hairdryer, filter paper and funnels to sieve, filtrate and evaporate materials!
