As part of out RE learning, Y1M had a Shabbat experience day to see what it was like to celebrate the Jewish Holy day. We had bread, juice and a snack to represent the challah bread, wine and meal that Jewish people have on this day, and said a blessing for our families. We then listened to Jewish music and played games to represent the day of rest. We had so much fun learning about how to be respectful and accepting of other people’s beliefs.
