Flashing Fire Engines

In Little Acorns this week we have reading the text Flashing Fire Engines as part of our topic what will I be when I grow up. We have learnt that firefighters help people and animals.

The children have been having lots of fun exploring the immersive reading area. During play we have been chanting “999 emergency.”
Look at us pretending to be a firefighters. we had fun using our voices saying “nee naw.”
As part of our maths learning we have exploring 2D shapes. We used the shapes to make a fire engine.
As I was choosing my shapes to make my fire engine I said “ circle wheels.”
I worked hard to follow the plan to make a recognisable fire engine.
