The activities and learning experiences that take place in the Acorns and Chestnuts have been planned using the curriculum guidance development matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS 2012), this ensures that all children make good progress.

Children access a curriculum through a well planned, exciting, resourced learning environment that takes into account the characteristics of young children as learners.

A rich and varied environment supports children’s learning and development. It gives them the confidence to explore and learn in secure and safe yet challenging indoor and outdoor spaces.
