In year 2 we have been learning about classifying animals and how different animals need different habitats. We spoke about the three fundamental principles of survival: food, water and air. We discussed how we would make our habitats suitable for different insects. Some of our habitats had more space for bigger insects whereas some were full of grass so that the insects could bury themselves.
