We enjoy sharing a mixed class in Y5/6 where we get to take the most appropriate parts from each year’s curriculum to support each child to make the best progress they can.

Our class teacher is Mrs Gilroy with Mrs Cliff as the class TA. We cover many topics in Year 5/6 including Coastlines and World War 2. This year we have had the chance to go on residential to Northumberland (Y6) or Stratford (Y5) to support our topics. Children also get to visit Stockport Air Raid Shelters in the Summer Term! 

Our PE days are Mondays and we enjoy all of the opportunities to keep fit in the Daily Mile. New spellings, a reading book (on bug club) and homework are given out each Friday. We have a goal of reading as many of our challenge books as possible by the ned of this year.
