Learning Skills

Throughout school children are introduced to our Learning Skills characters to enable them to learn the skills to be successful learners.  Each week we focus on and revisit the Learning Skills characters to ensure that children have a clear understanding of the learning expectations.  Children are taught the skills of Resilience, Reflection, Teamwork, Critical and Creative thinking, Communication and Thinking through a selection of Learning Skills characters. Children receive positive dojos for demonstrating these skills within their learning and are often rewarded in the Friday Celebration Assembly for their efforts. The following videos introduce each character to the children and help them to understand the skills we are looking for.
