Little Acorn’s have had great fun with our book this week which is all about wonderful and colourful fish. We put on our flippers and our oxygen tanks and dived into the story with a splash!
We saw stripy fish, spotty fish, SCARY fish, hairy fish, happy fish, twin fin fin fish! thin fish… far too many to mention.
We used big movements to create a huge under the sea scene using an array of resources to make lots of patterns.
We strengthened our fine motor skills by painting fish with brushes, finger paining patterns on fish and creating play dough fish. We also tried really hard to cut strips of paper to make tentacles for our jellyfish 🪼
Aaargh me harrtees!
We love pretending to be pirates looking for treasure. Aaagh!
We had so much fun playing fishy bingo where we had to match the fish and belly laughed all the way to the beach!
