In Acorns we have been learning about looking after the birds in our school garden.
We have learnt about the food that they eat including seeds and mealworms.
We know that we need to look after the creatures that share our world and that birds need feeding in the Winter time because there isn’t as much food available.
Birds needs to build up their energy for laying their eggs in Spring.
We have scooped up sunflower seeds and mealworms into a little bag which we will be bring home so that we can feed the birds in our own garden or yard.
