During the first week back the children have took part it lots of fun activities. They have enjoyed using the claves in music with Mr Kinmans as well as using a range of different instruments in topic. Using the instruments to create the sounds of different dinosaurs by changing the pitch and tempo of the beats.
In maths we have explored the composition of numbers up to ten, the children have enjoyed making a human number track, playing number bond pairs and bowling, discussing how many skittles where standing and how many were knocked down and what the total amount it’s all together.
We have also worked on our mixing skills to make different shades of green. The children have enjoyed exploring different textures and shades and have created beautiful backgrounds for their dinosaur artwork.
We have had a great first week back and can’t wait to keep exploring our learning together.
