This morning we held our first SEND coffee morning for parents to come together and talk all things SEND. We had 11 parents join us in sharing ideas on how best to support children with additional needs. Mrs Cook and Mrs Jenkinson gave an overview of the SEND processes in school and then there were opportunities for parents to look at resources used to provide support to children around areas such as cognition and learning, SEMH and ASD/ADHD. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we’d like to thank the parents for attending and look forward to hosting more in the future.
