Y5 are learning about all things volcanoes in Geography this half term. In our first lesson, we explored maps and used the online program Digi Maps to discover where volcanoes are located in the world, which left us asking many questions about volcanoes. We researched some of our enquiry questions based on the exploration of the world map and were left intrigued by some of our findings! We found out all about the Ring of Fire and why Japan is home to the most volcanoes. We can’t wait to learn more!
