In Acorns we have been reading the book What the Ladybird Heard at the Seaside by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks. We had fun exploring the small world themed area retelling the storyline using the props available. In maths we worked hard matching the numerals to the correct amounts. We also got creative, we used paint and paint brushes to paint the sea then decorated a fish using glue and shimmery collage pieces to represent the scales on fish.
