This week in Little Acorns, we have been learning all about autumn! The children loved taking part in all our different autumn themed activities such as hedgehog and pumpkin painting, an autumn walk and also having a look inside a real pumpkin and exploring the different textures!
We even went on an autumn nature walk on the school field! We collected different leaves that had fallen from the trees, and stuck them to our paper. The children loved listening to the sound of the leaves crunching beneath our feet! We talked about the different colours and shapes of leaves that we found, and also got to see some fall from the trees as we were walking!
We love autumn!
