Last week Y1/2C had an amazing time at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park for our ‘fur, feathers and skin’ topic, it was a very exciting first trip for some of us! We had a wonderful workshop where we learnt all about big cats and their teeth! We then explored the park and had lots of animals come over to say hello.
We ate our packed lunch outside and the zebras looked like they wanted to join us!
We used our new knowledge about animals teeth and diets to be detectives trying to work out which animals were herbivores and which were carnivores – make sure to ask us all about it.
Our teachers were so proud of how responsible everyone was!
