What a fantastic time we have had exploring all the different role-play opportunities at Little City! 🏙️✨
The children in Acorns and Chestnuts have loved stepping into different roles, using their imaginations and learning through real-life experiences. From helping others and working together, to communicating, problem-solving and developing confidence, there has been so much learning happening through play. 💕🩺👩🚒👨🍳
Role play gives children the opportunity to make sense of the world around them, practise important life skills and build relationships with the people who can help us in our community which supports our learning and big question of “I wonder who can help me?” It has encouraged lots of wonderful conversations about different jobs, responsibilities and how we can support one another.
Most importantly, we have had so much fun learning through play! 🌟
