Today, Children in Y3 identified and labelled the four layers of the Earth: the crust, mantle, outer core and inner core. They then learned that the Earth’s crust is divided into tectonic plates, which move very slowly. Through drama, children worked in groups to model plates moving apart, moving towards each other and sliding past one another.
