In year 2 we combined literacy with music and explored a setting through a soundscape. We each had a choice of instruments, including our own voices and each table created a soundscape. Everyone else had to guess which part of the setting the others were playing through their instruments. This helped us focus in on our sense of hearing and what we may be able to hear in our setting rather than what we can see.
