After school today children in Year 1 looked at the Magic Candle experiment in their tutoring club. We used our oracy skills to discuss and predict what might happen and then wrote our predictions using our phonics skills. After that we watched as the magic unfolded, some of us even got to have a go. Then we used our writing skills to explain what happened before decorating our candle. The children tried really hard and produced some good written outcomes. What will we do next week in Get Creative club?
