The children in Year 3 haven begun a science experiment which will focus on a length of time but also links to our current topic of the water cycle. We are experimenting with the same amount of water but in different locations to see if temperature affects the evaporation rate of water. We have placed a measuring cylinder on a radiator, on a window sill, in a cupboard and in the fridge to test the rate of evaporation.
