This week, Year 5 have been building on their place value work in maths by multiplying numbers and amounts by 10, 100 and 1,000. We took our learning outside this week! After drawing our own place value charts on the playground, we used counters, digits and even ourselves to represent numbers on our charts! We then discussed the movement of the digits as we multiply them.
